About Tucky

I used to love TripIt. Genuinely loved it. Forward a booking email, get an organised itinerary. It was one of those rare apps that did one thing brilliantly and then got out of your way.

Then it got acquired. And then it got shit.

The UI got cluttered, the parsing got worse, features nobody asked for got bolted on, and the core experience — the thing that made it magic — slowly rotted. I kept using it out of habit, but every trip I'd end up manually fixing half the details it used to nail automatically.

So I built Tucky. Not because the world needs another travel app — it really doesn't — but because I wanted that feeling back. Forward an email, see your trip. That's it.

Tucky is built by me, Jake, in New Zealand. It's not backed by venture capital or trying to be a platform. There's no social feed, no booking engine, no "travel inspiration." Just your itinerary, organised properly.

Your data stays yours. Tucky processes your forwarded emails to extract travel details, but it's not mining your inbox or selling your information. Privacy isn't a feature — it's the baseline.

If you used to love TripIt too, you'll feel right at home.
